Application:

  1. Application temperature: 600-800 degree Celsius
  2. Addition rate: 0.02-0.05% of melt weight

The addition quantity is only indicative and depends on the alloy (Si content), the casting process, the application temperature, the furnace parameters and the melt impurities.

Attention: The product should be added prior to casting but before an optional modification treatment with a pre-heated and coated perforated plunger. The grain-refining agent dissolves quickly and separates the effective grain-refining particles. For more information about the application, do not hesitate to contact our sales department.

Storing: KFT46 refiner has to be stored dry. Shelf life 6-12 months (depending on storage conditions) in tightly closed original packaging.

Packaging: KFT46 Refiners are wrapped in yellow-colored aluminum foil to one roll of 1.2 kg net each. 11 rolls are packed in one cardboard box of 13.2 Kg net each.
